Common grooming questions answered
Pet owners often wonder about the best grooming practices. I can answer questions like, "How often should I groom my pet?" and "What preventative measures can I take to maintain their coat and skin health?"
Grooming advice to help you keep your pets looking their best.
I will offer suggestions to help your dog (or other animal) cope with grooming if they find it stressful.
*I will always recommend any amount of walk/exercise before any grooming is better than none, it is always worth it.* Never underestimate the benefits of daily exercise, let alone when done prior to any potentially stressful event.
Advice on Grooming such as but not limited to; Brushing, De-matting, Breed specific clips, nails, etc.
Advice itself is free; however, if you require me to assist in or actually groom your dog the cost will vary depending on what is needed.
* For me to simply assist $15/hr.
* If you'd prefer me to do the full groom, Cost will be minimum $20/hr. or $15/Hr with owner assisting.
Full Grooming: Complete brush out, de-matting if needed, specific breed clip, nails, pad shave, ear cleaning. Send me an email, msg on fcbk, or text me with details and a pic of your dog and I'll give you an estimate of cost of doing a full groom.
If a full groom done by me is desired I will request the assistance of the owners, by doing so I can answer questions during the grooming or explain what can be done to make grooming more enjoyable for both the dog and the owner.
